Default What happens when the timing is off?

The distributor on my 88crx si was put on wrong. I switched the cabels back to the proper order 1342, but the car shakes pretty bad. Is something wrong, bent rods?

Sounds more like its misfiring, make sure you have the wires in the proper order. 1342 is the right order but make sure you are looking at the distributor right.
