2000 Honda EX V6 Coupe, STUCK BRAKE ROTORS
Need some help. Currently replacing all 4 corners with new pads/rotors. Unfortunatley I am unable to remove the rotors as they apear to be original, un rusted on.
I had to drill out the little phillips headed bolts that hold the rotors on, but I am still unable to remove the rotor.
Does anybody know the exact size of the Rotor Removal Bolt holes??? I have tried M7x1.00 and it is to small and just spins, and a M8x1.25 and I think it is too large.
I have thought about just pounding the rotors off, but I dont want to break any other parts, and though there must be an easier way. (I have sledged a little..)
Please let me know ASAP. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.

And FYI, the bolt holes are M8, they probably are just really rusty

First of all, you should have gotten a impact driver. to loosen the screws.
Anyways as for the bolts, I just took one of the bolts that hold on the header cover. I think those are 8mm. Though I tried this with the 5th and 6th gen Accord. I think the "M8" would do. You have to put it in like perfectly. I thought they were different, but it'll fit.

I did try an impact driver first. I beat the crap out of them, but would not budge.
I will try an M8x1.25 and see if it fits one more time. If not I will just hit it off with a mallet.
Let me know if you have any other ideas.
Thanks

Forget the bolt holes. Big hammer (not a rubber mallet) and hit the rotor like it owes you money. A little spray lube never hurts either.
beat it like it owes you money and slept with ur girl and farted in ur car
id say kick it,
or put the tire back on and tighten one bolt only, that will loosen it up

Yeah, you all are correct on the beating it. I just bought a 3lb sledge and smashed them off since I was replacing the rotors anyway.
It helps to have jackstands as well.
