You may be dead by then, or even have your car sold....
If you want an LSD for a daily car, quaiffe is welcome.
But if you plan going to the track often and want the maximum , go with clutch type LSD..

I have to retract ALL my Kaaz statements about it wearing out.......I simply broke it with MASSIVE SOHC power.......pun intended......

Left is good, right is not so good.

You got to be kidding right??
What horsepower>Under what circumstances and in how many Km??Which oil did you use?

Cusco RS is said to be more progressive due to its springs...

I run a quaife on my street car No issues what so ever. I have never heard anything bad about them and nor can i say anything bad. I am very pleased with it.

50,00 street miles + drag racing.

190 whp, Z6 on 85 shot launching at 7500+ rpms on 20x8x14 slicks.

Oil didn't causing the failure. All power has to go thru those 12 little nubs per each wheel.

50 miles??? So let me get it right...
You bought a brand new KAAZ LSD, you did the "brake in" as kaaz sais, put the kaaz oil, did 50 street miles and some drag racing with 190whp, and it broke??

I understand that power has to go through those nubs, but hey, thats how all clutch type LSD work! Cusco, ATS, etc! Its supposed to work that way...
All i can assume is you were unlucky and there was a failure for some reason..

Those nubs are supposed to hold like 300whp in a sylvia or some other Rwd drift car.. Anyway..

About Quaife,
i have heard of many quaife differentials broken here in Greece..
As i know, there was a 2nd generation that was improved.
Clutch type LSD wear their plates, and you will have to change them someday,
on the other hand, torsen type lsds dont have any way of absoving power, and someday the gears brake..or the housing collapses. Then you will find, that servicing a clutch type LSD is cheaper than rebuilding a torsen type.
Thats my opinion , as long as we are talking for race cars or just very powerful cars.

50,000

Civics only have two plates per side, the others have 3 plates, 50 % more nubs.

I think 50000miles, 275whp on drag racing with slicks is alright for me...

I mean, is this an lsd-abuse or what?? If it wasnt for the lsd, the axles should have broke... 190whp and 85 nos is a real shock for the transmission, especially when using that kind of slicks and have already 50000 miles on that lsd...

So Kaaz rocks...

Nothing beats a lifetime warranty. To my knowledge only Quaife has one and also I don't know of ANY OTHER aftermarket performance part that carries such a thing.

Quaife. Anything else is a total waste of money
