if you have no experience
i would leave it to the pros
shouldn't have to leave the car over night
depending on how busy they are
it should take them about an hour if no one else is there

Definitely leave it to pros. I had a hard enough time just trying to put tint on my tail lights. I can't imagine trying to do an entire window.

Leave it to the pros. Chances are you will probably mess up, you will be out money for the e-bay tint, and then you will have to spend more money to get the tint done at a shop. Just spend some extra money and save yourself the headache.

Leave it to the pros, at least lay some lamin-x before you try your hand at tinting.

please stop spamming...
it's annoying...

BTW, when people say "leave it to the pro's" they mean leave it to a reputable shop that has good feedback instead of leaving it to some cheap shop that lets a guy who barely knows about cars putting it on...

leave it to a repuable shop yes vs cheap shop yep yep

forget ebay tints 90% of then are **** junk. on top of that its a rea bias to install tint if you are unexpericed!!!!! and tint will turn purple over time if not to begain with! and cheap tint you wont be able to see clearly and will discolor well many reasons why not to use cheap tint , in the end if you go that route and mange not to damge your windows or defroster or antenna you will replace the tint soon and the end result will be more expensive the long run. so save your sel time and the hassle have it done by a pro!!!

as for the quote of 100 seems to cheap to be a good shop go to several shops in town and ask how long they have been in biz tint shop and if you can see several diffrent cars , fianly ask what tint matirial they use. you want to use LUMAR that is far the best, 3m is ok avoid lower end brands.

Wow, overnight? if you gotta leave it overnight than you probably wanna keep looking around. Make sure you get good quality tint and maybe a good warranty.

nah.. not car theifs.. they're meth heads.. there was a shop here local to me that was similar.. great reputation, good prices, been around for 10 years but you almost couldn't talk to the tint guy in person during the day (only the girl answering phones).. a friend decided to go ahead and let them tint his car and leave it overnight (against my advice).. went by about 1:00AM and there it was being tinted by a guy with blown out pupils, radio cranked, grinding his teeth.. he had 4 more cars (nice cars) after this one to do that night.. the cops eventually got curious about the traffic at night (I'm sure not all for tint jobs) and the place ended up getting shut down maybe 6 months later after drug charges were brought on the owners..

that's the only time I've ever heard of an overnight tint job

I paid $180 from the same shop that does all the tint for dealers in my area.. great job, lifetime warranty.. you get what you pay for

edit: now that I see the OP is from north carolina.. I'd definately say meth-head shop

Have an optometrist or a dermatologist write you a prescription and laminate it. Use reasoning that you have family history of malignant melanoma, and/or worried about your eyesight. Mention that you drive for your job 12 hours per day yadda yadda yadda. If at 1st you don't succeed try try again.

On my vehicles I have 5% darker than legal on the passenger and drivers windows 5% lighter than legal for those windows on my windshield and 10% darker everywhere else.
