Yeah I was getting my windows tinted and the guy noticed I had my back window slightly tinted and said it would cost hella money. He suggested that I replace the whole back window and then tint. I was wonderin if anyone knew if it was hard to replace and find the back window for a 4dr ls and how much it would cost. Thanks guys

 

Sounds like you need to go to another shop. All they need to do is take off the old tint from the window and install the new tint.

They may charge you more because of the extra labor of taking the old **** off.

No way! go to another shop!. when my back window was busted on my 90 teg i was quoted $900.. yes i said $900. crazy. so i had to get a whole new hatch. it was way cheaper.

How the condition of your old tint? Shops will charge you more for the extra labor but if you have a really old tint that turned purple over time then it will definetly cost you. Taking this off with out damaging the defogger is pretty hard.
