Default How important is the pcv valve on a boosted setup?

So ive got a 94 teg that started as an LS-T. i eliminated the pcv valve from the the car and just plugged the the hose feeding it from the intake and left the bottom hose open, never smoke or went through oil at all. Then i went to an LS/VTEC-T setup on 10psi and have had a smoking problem ever since. I thought it was valve stem seals so i replaced those and still it smokes. So i ran the line from the valve cover to a catch-can as well as the open line from the little black box on the back of the block. And the can is accumulating oil. so should i put the PCV valve back in or what should i do?

You can't use the pcv valve. They close under manifold pressure. As long as the engine isn't hurt just do some vc venting and a drainback catch can.Lots of info in the archives.

Just run a simple catch can setup.
