i'm thinking of running a 50 shot of NOS on my ep3, will i need any engine work before installing?

 

why? what other mods do you have?

 

Go to Nitrous Express' website - it'll answer a lot of questions about running N0S. I don't believe changing internals would be necessary for a 50 shot, but depending on how much you use it, it could significantly decrease longevity.

 

u know what NoS can do to your car when you use it for a long time right?

 

i know its hard on the engine, thats why i would only run a 50 shot. 'm looking for a quick power gain but not permanent

 

i hate people that run nos on a stock car theres a guy around where i live thats running a 100 shot in his rsx but he tells everyone he is all motor

 

I wouldn't run it unless you have at least forged pistons and some better breathing for the vehicle, plus you'd want to make sure you're getting adequate amounts of fuel into the cylinders. I could run spray on my motor if I wanted to with the JE 10.8:1 pistons I have, but I'd rather not.

First make sure the welds holding the steel panel in front of the passenger seat are strong and intact ... you should be good to go then.

 

running a 50 shot in ur ep is gonna be fine, it will hold the power, just dont go crazy and you will be ok, i use to run 75 no prob

yes dont activate it until it says stage 2 is complete

 

I doubt a 50 shot on an otherwise stock Ep3 will outrun a mild bolt-on RSX-S or any other swapped hatch.

Don't understand the point for such a small gain. Too much downside for .5-.75 seconds in the 1/4 mile.

 

EP3+NOS=gernade. Good luck trying to push the pin back in.
