Default Another question

After reading several articles, there is a lot one can do to up horsepower on Si; however, can any mixture of too many items reduce performance. For example, as a long term project, turbocharger with cold air intake and headers will give you HP boost how much and is it all worth it? Or is it worth just adding the turbo and headers only? I would appreciate if someone could direct me to a forum or information thread for beginners like myself that wish to learn more about these modifications before investing too much money into them. Thank you.

im not really sure what your asking here but turbos dont use the header. the header gets eliminated and is replaced by an exhaust manifold that will lead to a down pipe and then the exhaust.

the cold air intake would be rerouted/removed and replaced if you were to go turbo also

Hey buddy really read into turbo apps. before buyin stuff... garret has some usefull info on how turbo setups work... http://www.turbobygarrett.com/....html

just boltin on a turbo is fairly easy but making it work right for your car is a bit detailed. (wouldnt want yah to blow up the motor if you know what i mean).

check out some basic options like intake/ header/ exhaust. that will give yah some pep.... and if you ever got a supercharger you wouldnt have to remove any of them. good luck

There is also a Supercharger option you can consider as well. You can/do use a header with a Supercharger, and you get more linear power with a supercharger. I am not saying one is better then the other, but I suggest you research both options.
