Default b16 valve cover gasket

why would there be oil on the bottom of where my spark plugs go?
its not filled but there is some. and my oil is low.also one spark plug cap(cover) slides up,is that because of any compression through the tube of where the plugs go?

If you have oil in your plug holes, there's a good chance that the little grommets that go between your head and your valve cover are leaking. Get a valve cover gasket set. It should come with them.

At least for the f22 and h22, the sohc spark plug gaskets wouldnt fit the h22 valve cover. Most likely the same case here.

You bought a new valve cover gasket, so why not get a new set of these?
