Default p72 on a d16

I got a deal on a p72, would i get any gains from it on a d16? whats the vtec point on a gsr anyways? its for an obd-2 car so im limitied on cash for a p28 and conversion harness.

DOHC ecu on a SOHC motor.

Negative, it will run like *** and you definately wont get any gains.

Let me guess, your motor is stock too?

Though once you chip a sohc ecu and run a basemap, it doesn't really matter what ecu, as you're changing all the settings anyway.
