is there an extra wire going into the ecu on a stock 92 cx harness? i am in need of a wire i can move over to D3 for a knock sensor

 

on a 92 CX...
VTEC wires, yes.
any other extras? no.

microphone wire from radishack works well for knock sensor wire. conect the shield to the shield connection point at the shock towers and no where else and it will work like OEM.

 

where is the shield connection at the shock tower?

so basically i have to find a female pin to use at the D3 spot? radio shack sell these pins?

 

passenger side plugs, it's not difficult to find, look for a lot of wires running together with a black wire connecting to it.
radioshack would be a no. best bet is junk yard or if you don't have a yard clsoe by, let me know, I can get you a pin for it.
