Default How is the jack held down in the trunk?? EG

My jack is jumping around back there. How is it supposed to be held in the wheel well?

Behind the spare, just underneath indentation in the particle board, is where the jack is supposed to sit. Look for a metal piece that's big enough to accomodate the top of the jack. Raise the jack so that the top part will fit snugly into that piece.

right under where the trunk latch meets the chassis - just look at the latch and lift the bored, you'll see a metal piece sticking out.

You put the jack under that and twist the thing so it puts pressure on the bottom of the wheel well as well as that metal piece, so it's held in there.

If you don't understand PM me and I'll take a picture.

I don't have any metal brackets in the spare tire area besides the one I screw the spare into. That is what I thought since most cars have something like that. Syndacate, I would really appreciate if you could take a pic.
