i purchased a fuiita cai for 120$ & free shipping off ebay last week. i finally got it today everything was excelent. in origanal box, came with everything needed pluss a bag and a energy drink for some reason. my question is.... what is the difference between the vtec cai and the non vtec cai? if so how could i tell the difference? I just got the short block built so i cant just see if it will work or not. overtime is holding me back =/. any help will be appreciated.

There could be differences in piping diameter, but the main difference would likely be that the "VTEC" model would have different bends to accommodate the GS-R's dual-stage intake manifold.

I was able to use a GSR short ram on a LS... I don't know if that says anything though

 

if i were put a picture of it up could anyone tell if it would work? like i said it will probably be a month before i actually put it on. so i need to make sure they sent me the right piece.
