Default Best Suspension for Track

Hey all,
I'm looking around to try and get a good sense for what is the best "track" suspension for a new Si.
So far, not to many people have really used this car on the track, and I'd like to know what's working and what's not as far as good high quality suspension. I see the TEIN Flex is out for this car. I like KW, but I haven't seen anything from them yet for the new Civic.

What have any of you tried and liked, and what have you tried and not liked?

All feed back is much appreciated
Thanks!

I have ran mine on the track but haven't upgraded suspension yet. What I have heard though is that the Tein SS is a great way to go and the way I am planning to go. Don't lose ride quality for DD but fully adjustable for the track.

you mean you can use a civic for something other than a 1320 race? *gasp* I havent really seen a solid full coilover kit yet. I was kind of waiting for Omniman to put something out but I dont think he is. Maybe the Megan Racing Full Coilovers. Then again I have no clue.

Isn't the Tein SS setup full coil over?

Maybe I was driving much slower but I don't remember my ride rolling that much when I was on Road Atlanta back in March. Going back in August! Can't wait!

Does the Tein offer adjustable dampening? I don't usually consider it a real coilover if it doesnt. Like I said I dont know though.

The TEIN SS is a full coil over set up.
I think that may be a little to soft for me, but a good set up for street/track use for sure.

I'm going to check out Megan set up. I'm not to familiar with them, but I'll take a look.

You have 16 levels of dampening. You should be able to dial in just what you want.

The SS won't handle the kind of spring rates I want to use. If I go with TEIN, it'll most likely be the FLEX, but I'm not sure of either of the TIEN systems as I don't know of anyone who has tired them on the track.

Well, that and I need to lose 20lbs. that should be worth at least .10 sec around a race track!

I do know what I want, but I'd like to see what others have done so I can make an informed decision before I drop any cash.

Wait for Mugen's N1 coilovers for our car. The absolute best hands down, undeniably. 32 levels of adjustability as well.

Sweet, when are those coming out?
It'll be lot's of $$$$$ for Mugen, but I never hear anything bad about Mugen stuff.

Here are a couple more photos.
I'll be back at the track on 7/7 at buttonwillow and 7/21 & 22 at the streets of willow if anyone wants to drive at the track, I'll hook you up with some good instruction.

No complaints with my setup:

Tein S-techs
Carbing Strut tower Bar
Hawk HPS plus brake pads
Motul 600RBF

...Just need to stiff'n up the suspension a lil, the stock shocks are too soft.

I would say go with Tein SS if you want an decent track setup. If your on the track alot I would say go with Tein Flex since they have pillowball mounts and alot more adjustments than the SS and Megan coilovers. I believe the flex and Megans have about the same spring rates. Megans are stiffer compared to the Tein SS.

Some pics of my track event. Riding on Tein SS, progress rear sway and some negative camber. I could feel the weight transfer but not too much body roll.

coming out of a sharp righthander at 30+ mph

slight left hander

flat for comparison

Cool, looks like a lot of you have gone with the TEIN either the SS or Flex. I'm still on the fence with the tein, but I'm going to look into them more. I do wish KW made a set up for this car...
