Best suspension setup for street/strip.
I asked this in the suspension section, but I want to know from the track regulars!
Im looking to buy new suspension.. My current setup just isnt cutting it anymore with the power I am making.
I want to have something super stiff at the track, but I dont want to sacrafice ride on the street.. (it is not a strictly track car yet)
I want to be able to slam it every now and again, and I also want to be able to fit my slicks nicely (24.5x8x13)
I dont mind alittle loss of comfort for something that will perform
I currently have a 500whp EG with Tein S-techs and Tokico Blues...

..you could just upgrade to any fully adjustable coilover. Tein SS, D2, or Omni all offer coilover suspension, with many levels of dampening. So raise it, lower it, or set it stiffer for the track, softer for the street.

I think im gonna go with omni.. and get an extra set of 18k rears...
givin me 12k fronts, 10 k rears for daily driving, and 18k's I can swap out at the track..
so If these sport coils are like 650 for a set, how much would the extra 18k's run me?

i think omni sells them for a little over a thousand for all six. 12k fronts, 10k rear for street and 18k for drag. im on the same boat as you OP. i cant decide weather to sacrifice fumfort or traction for my daily driver.

i have the omni drags on currently. 12k front 18k rear. i love the stiff ride, but i think its a little too much for the street, especially for bumpy or uneven roads.
something around 10-12k i think would be perfect for the street

my area is brutal for roads and would be death with stiff suspension for the street...
I think Im going to stick with my original plan of AMR Engineering Coilovers... Lots of good reviews and they make them custom to your needs...
