99 INTEGRA....WHAT OFFSET CAN I DO?

Default 99 INTEGRA....WHAT OFFSET CAN I DO?



I THINK i may pucrhase these wheels in silver or black and i have a silver 99 intgera but anyways....

i am getting them in a 16x7 so i can use my 205/40 series tires and i was wondering what offset i can still use to keep my tires cuz im wanting a deeper lip? thanks. flame away if needed im just askin a question cuz i have no idea about this ish

whats the available offsets?

i have the same setup with 35mm no rubbing at all

yea i am ordering them in a 16....implying that i already have a 16" 205/40 tire....how big of a lip is a 38 going to give me and will i rub badly?

no i mean...i've never see a tire that's 205/40-16... i'm using 205/40-17s... if u use those ur speedo will be off and tire profile pretty thin i think

on the same wheel? because wheel designs can produce a faux lip. i think u need to learn some wheel terminology (not bashing), just saying that u can understand offsets and such much better.

if it's 38 vs 40 on the same designed wheel...in theory the lip should be 2mm bigger...ORRR the lug mount spot/hub (whutever) will be skinnier....

i'm not saying standards by anymeans.

38 offset on wheelA and 38 offset on wheelB can = different sized "lips"....

and for wheels that don't have a lip regardless...such as TEs or cr kais... the offset will be present through concavity.

o ok thanks bro....so theoretically....with any wheel with a lip you probably wont see a HUGE difference at a 38 offset depending on what they can get and the rim its self..kinda sorta hitting the answer

these two wheels in real life would have the same offset and very different lip sizes... (i hope this illustration makes sense)

1st wheel being convex, which is highly improbable
and 2nd wheel being concave (no lip)

OK GOT IT ....to bad you didnt do anything for me and nor does it answer my question...i didnt give sh@t about rubbing AND falken i was wanting a bigger lip you do no justice for me k...BUT thanks to nathan i get it now
