Correct me If I'm wrong but does the Del sol B16 swap directly into the EG? what about the shift linkage? Motor Mounts? I've tried searching and have not really found direct answers. What all would I need to complete this swap? Thanks in advance.

 

i have a del sol b16 in my EG and its WAY to slow.

i got the car with the swap already done so i dont know what all they had to do.sorry i cant answer you question

I know the GSR is a direct bolt-in. I was asking about the B16 from a delsol.

 

what's the difference?

same block cept shorter deck height, same trans, same sensors....

i'd be curious to know if there is a difference because i've always seen them treated the same...

 

Well , I hear that you cannot use the shift linkage from a sol. But everything else should bolt in. What about my stock d-series linkage?

 

you need 94-01 integra shift linkage

My question was not about the the b18c swap it was based on the B16 OUT OF THE DEL SOL if the linkage out of the del sol would work in my EG. That was the question, so thank you egsleepercivic for straight up answering my question.

the B16a swap and B18c swap into an eg are identical except with a B18c1 you have to wire IAB and B16a you don't. Otherwise you use the same linkage and mounts

 

Gotta use 94-01 Integra Shift Linkage only.
