hey ive been having some trouble with my 99 lude sh . the engine idles very low almost to the point that it dies, and the vtec doesnt turn on. i replaced the screen on the vtec solenoid and check out the egr valve as well , made sure there was enough oil and thats fine also. the oil was changed last month and have only put about 200 miles on it since the change. another strange thing is the apexi vafc i have no longer matches the rpm it displays to the actual tach, i would rev to about 3000 and afc only shows only about 1300, i dont have any cel or any other lights plz help i dont wanna pay honda a million dollars to fix my car

First thing you need to do is a tune up. Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, filters (oil, air, fuel), check timing, valve adjustment, Seafoam, etc..

also check all your wiring for your vafc. or just remove it, I would bet you a large sum of money the vafc is the cause of your problems

I thought you didn't support seafoam?

I don't endorse it whatsoever. Its too abrasive on rubber gaskets.
Who knows I guess. I've only personally seen bad things from its use.

I have nothing against it...every time I've used it has come out well. Lots of old cars and such and none have had any problems and it seems like the older the car the more carbon-smoke billows out

Plus I'm sure it's not much different from all the other carbon build-up cleaners...
