i figured most of it out, but im just not sure which wires to hook up to the msd external coil, do i just run the ones that were connected to the internal coil to the new external coil? if so, where do i run the wires, cut a hole in the cap or what??? someone who has done this please pm me if u can help, thanks
oh its on a 94 integra ls

 

the wires from the igniton go to the coil and the wires from the stock coil the pos goes to 12 source to the ingtion swx, so that way it turns the car on and the neg goes? >>>?? i forget , its abeen a while it was another wire coming off the msd box .
but the wires going to the blaster i think were black and red, and inside the cap were orange and something . . samnit i forget.
but yea, just drill a little hole into the cap and run thwe wires thru . sorry i tried to help

 

anyone?? i just wanna know how i get the wires from inside the distributer out to the external coil????????????????????????? some has to know??

 

remove your old coil, you can run the wires thru the cap when you drill a hole but your best bet is to get a little wire bridge from radio shack this way you dont have to cut up your wires if you ever go back to stock. the stock coil is clearly marked with + and - so you just hook that up to your ss coil. then cut the coil wire to lenght w/ the tool msd supplies. very easy task
