Default which is better getting a tube style comptech intake or a AEM short ram intake?

I just got a 1999 GSR and am wondering what type of intake i should get. I am looking at AEM short ram and comptech tube style intake. i was wondering which one is better? Also if i get the comptech i can put an ice box on it to make it like a cold air intake, but would it be better to get a AEM cold air intake? thanx for ur help! PS...its been raining alot here and im worried about getting water in my engine but it depends on which intake is better. ill get either

With the Comptech you can install the Ice Box, but it is POINTLESS to have a Ram Air if you think it's going to give you those few HP you are missing out on. Just get a CAI.

why do you even want a short ram?

CAI = Cold air intake..

just get an AEM CAI.. comptech icebox.. or make your own by replacing the filter in your stock air box and run piping to the fenderwell.. i lost that link when my comp crashed.. maybe sum1 else will post it up..

rain doesn't hydrolock an engine... idiots taking their cars swimming hydrolocks engines. or just driving when it OBVIOUSLY isn't safe to... due to rain

Just be safe and smart... you'll be fine.

go to http://www.landspeedracing.com and order your AEM CAI (Cold Air Intake)

go on, I know you want to... go on
