Default Head Unit Blackout

Just spent all day ripping my radio out and installing a Pioneer AVH P6800DVD. Everything was all hooked up and working. I got the video wired up and bose system all installed. I was putting it back together, and figured I should test it before I closed it up. Doesn't work now. I triple checked all wires and connections, it's all good. I tested the line and the haness going into the head unit is getting 12 Volts. What the hell just happened? I am not very happy here. Is there an internal fuse or anything in this stereo? I need some advice.

scratch that, figured it out. the backup fuse under the hood was blown. for some reason the power was coming through, i think the remote wire just wasn't tripping over.
