Cryo'ing my retainers....
i have portflows....hopefully they'll last, as i've been running toda spec b's.......
i was thinking of cryo'ing them.......

Not Portflows though, right? I didn't see the post but the portflow retainers are pretty good. If you are afraid of that happening, you could go buy the very best (don't know which re is the BEST) and have them installed cheaper than it would be to have your portflow's removed, treated, and reinstalled. just my $0.02 Dont get me wrong though, that sounds like a good idea.

It all depends on how you drive your car....
Keep in mind that how he says he drives his car could be true or false. Also thats the first time i've seen anything like that. It might be possilbe that he just got a defective retainer. Anyways, even if you are going to cryo treat your retainers you are still going to have to keep an eye out for them.

If you have them out of the car before you install them...send them out to be treated...if not, don't waste you time and money on it...although back when I had big cams I had the cams, gears, springs, and retainers sent off for cryo treatment.
