i had a b18a1 long block runs & everything pulled out of my da. and sold it to my freind he wants to build ls/vtec. what is best for his setup b16 head ls bottem end.what is the best rod & piston combo. i checked search engine. and read topics on ls vtec but everyone just said build it well. can you use stock rods and pistons? what kinda bearings would be best? has anyone fully built an ls bottem end for ls/vtec? what was your setup? and did it work well? would you change anything?

just for the record i told him they are not real realiable. but he said he wanted build it anyway. who am i stand in his way. to each his own.
