ok so basically I am ready to do another power part. I am just debating between alot of stuff. I looked at the APEXi NEO controller and I didn't know between that and chrome pro what I should do. The only problem is I probably can't chrome my ECU cause i am still running OBDII and I really don't want to change over to OBD I right now. I dunno I am thinking between alot of stuff. If anyone could suggest about ecu stuff that would be great. thanks

How about a USED VAFC and tuning....Well spent $$$.....
Knowing your current mods would help just a little......

ya I know and it was kinda one of those inevitable things that I didn't wanna hear, not that I don't like hondata. That just requires me to go to OBD I and as well get a new ECU. which I am kinda dreading.

Well......heres a great chart I have around while trying to convince people of a VAFC and tuning.
Below is a Before and After of a 5th gen Prelude with AirMass header/AEM SRi/AEM pullies/T1R exhaust. It took less than an hour to tune and was tuned with a Used VAFC1 from ebay. Total cost was ~$200.
I have spent alot of time around the Dyno and can tell you sometimes i/h/e provide minimal power gains without tuning, and sometimes tuning provides minimal gains......I'm talking PEAK power gains though.......Mid Range was killer on this setup. Tell me you wouldn't want to spend $200 for that 5000RPM punch!!

Its easy if youre not shy of a Soldering iron to do it right.......The option I suggest is buying a Plug and Play harness from Boomslang for about $100. Easy in and easy out. I have just seen alot of issues when people solder themselves. The harness is a no brainer and youre not hacking up your main harness. In the future, if you decide to do a Hondata setup, you can unplug the harness and start over with a OBD2-OBD1 harness.....
Always try to keep it simple and clean with wiring......electrical problems will drive you insane! Youre dealing with wires that are the size of a few strands of hair.....

Pretty sure its "A". I actually have a Boomslang OBD2A P&P harness with a VAFC2 output for sale.....
Im an OBD1 guy so I may be wrong......I actually have 2 harnesses in my garage that were bought for friends that backed out. One was for a 99 Civic Si and the other was for a 2000 Prelude. If youre interested, I will figure out which is which and make you a good deal on one.

It won't work with the NEO, its meant for the VAFC2 which can be found cheap on ebay.
I am forwarding this picture to Boomslang to figure out which is which.

Alright, well even easier......The one pictured on left is for ALL OBD Preludes which are OBD2A.----the one on right is for OBD2B
Boomslang sells them for $149 shipped.
Let me know if youre interested....I would be happy with $100 shipped.
Save $50 on the harness and $50 on the VAFC and youre tuned.
If youre set on the VAFC NEO(Im not sure other than looks whats different)
