there is no blinking, it is a small clear almost a window bout an inch wide and has " 8 2 4 1 ", with a single little red light behind each number. the light behind the " 1 " is lit up when the light comes on , on the dash " PGM-FI ".
that is a mouth full.........

the "PGM-FI" light comes on and goes out=no problem
the "PGM-FI" light comes on and stays on=currently encounter problem
but if the light was on and later off then a code should be stored
here is how to read the codes from this computer
first of all there is no flashing leds
and only a single code is stored at any time
there are four leds each with a number 1,2,4, and 8.
the code is the number under the lit led
if more than one led is lit en add the numbers together to get the code
example
if led 1 is lit code is code1=02 sensor
if led1, led2, and led 4 are lit then code is code 7=coolant temp sensor

for a list of codes and what they mean
http://www.hybrid-k.com/tech/codes.html
the easiest way to clear the code is to disconnect the battery for a minute then reconnect
