Default Help!! i dont get this!!

my cel is on but im not throwing any codes. i have an obd-0 ecu.(pr3) the light works cause when i turn the key to acc it lights up for a sec.

i thought they were on the ecu

pr3??? i thought that was OBD 1. So yes a cel on the dash is right. But iono why yours is always on. Maybe there is a short in a wire somewhere.

absolutely no light on the ecu at all??

no at all light. it even flashes. ya they are 0bd-1 but i changed the wiring harness.

the light flashes?? so is your ecu obd0 or obd1?

To make this easier on everyone. What car are you running? If its an 88-91 car the CEL will show up on the ecu. If its 92-00 and you did a jumper harness to OBD0 (i have no clue why you would ever do that) then it should show on the dash unless the ecu is screwed.

as i said b4 the ecu has a little hole where the cel flashes. If anyone paid attention he first said his ecu was obd 0

yes it on my 88 crx. the cel light blinks but no light flashing on the ecu

no. ya if your ecu light stays on then you got a bad ecu. i dont know what the hell is wrong with it.

Wait are you saying your CEL comes on and then goes off after a few seconds when you start the car?

no. ill drive for like 10min some times less and it comes on.
