Default fixing bad ground?

i have had a problem with my cluster lights since i got my car last feb...i believe it to be a bad ground because the lights will come on and they all work, but occasionally, and sometimes more than that, they will go out or partially go out. i can get them to work if i tap on the dash near the cluster. is there any way that i can target the ground and reground it to a different part of the chasis or do i have to fix the ground itself at the fuse box?
