I disagree with the use of GE's vacuum log with most ITB's on the market.

I ran this same log on mine for a while, and had a very erratic MAP signal. The car drove poorly, and was very hard to tune.

I made myself a canister roughly the size of your standard IM plenum, and ran my MAP signal/brakes off that.

The car drives 200% smoother now.

- Derek</TD></TR></TABLE> you must have had something hooked up wrong, they work fine on all the itb cars we run and lots of people use them for the same no problems, it is just a vacuum source

Oh, I'm not trying to down-talk the product, I'm just sharing my personal experience with it.

Trust me, nothing was hooked up wrong.

Not sure 'why', but I just did not have good luck with it.

i personally put together 4 itb cars with golden eagle vac box, and never once had a problem. but i recommend you use a mercury stick before you start.

could be that the pressure waves from the port are very strong and cause the manifold pressure to oscillate....idk. the larger the manifold the less the pressure waves affect the signal.
