Clutch Pedal Squeaking?
I have noticed that it squeaks on and off for a while now and I always thought it was the clutch spring that needed to be lubricated with WD-40 or something like that.
But today, driving in a quiet enclosed parking lot structure I realized that the squeaks are actually from the engine(master cylinder?) and can be heard very loud outside the car. I know a lot of you have the squeaks and says that it is normal and it goes away(mines does and returns occasionally)
I was wondering if anybody ever had this fixed? and what was the cause/problem. I never looked into it because I always thought it was the return spring. I have been using Valvoline synpower brake fluid for approx. 30,000 miles with flushes every 10,000 miles (Clutch fluid is very clean)

Thanks guys, but the sound does not come from the clutch fork/throwout bearing area. But I will try to grease it anyways.
It is definately squeaking (sounds like an old loose floorboard, old rocking chair) coming from the master cylinder area. You guys think that needs to be replaced?

mine has a little squeak too, and it feels a little knotchy, like when i release, it feels like it sticks. do you guys think the dealership will cover this or blame me for it? it's gradually getting worse soo i dont know..
I think it's the slave cyl rod. According to the shop manual you have to grease it with Urea grease because it's heat resistant. WD40 won't help long because it will disappear after some time.
I've noticed the same problem too. My car is still under a honda used warrenty so I may try and get it fixed. I think my double de-clutching has made it worse due to double the number of clutch applications.
