yellow light on dashboard
I have a problem with my 91 CRX vtec
since yesterday the yellow control lamp on the dashboard starts burning now and then.
It's the yellow light that burns for 2-3 seconds befor you turn on the engine. This light goes off once the engine is warmed up?
well when i was driving yesterday it suddenly turned on! I had the same problem this morning. When i pulled over and turned off my engine and restarted, the light stayed out.
But I think there's a problem somewhere, can someone help me?
What can the cause be, what's does the warning light mean?

If your talking about the check engine light, it can mean several things. Its also known as the idiot light. It doesnt particularly mean anything is wrong with your engine, more to the fact that something is not exactly as it should be. For example your exhaust emissions might be too high.
It's indead the check engine light i think, the upper left one control light. Ah ok, so not really something to worry about?
I drive about 10 months in this car and yesterday it was the first time i saw it burning while i was driving.
Can i do something about this?

It is something to worry about, its how the car lets you know that something is wrong.
To determine what is wrong, you'll need to check what code the computer is throwing.
- pull back the carpet on the passenger floorboard (underneath the glovebox)
- put the key in the "start" position, but don't crank it.
- If the check engine light comes on, you should be able to see a red light flashing from the "little window" on the ecu shield.
- Count the number of flashes. (Long flashes = 10, short = 1)
Once you figure out which code(s) it is throwing, look them up in a manual or post back on here. That will tell you what your problem is and what needs to be fixed/replaced.

Your 4 long flashes = 4x and the 4 short flashes = x4 put the two together and its 44; Saying that, codes 43 and 44 are Fuel Supply System??? I dont know exactly what that means but good luck!

The car runs perfect, is there a way to check out which part it specificly can be?
Can it be a sensor or something?
i've readed something about resetting the ECU, is that a good idea?

You have an error in your fuel system some where,
could be bad gas, could be pressure, the regulator, check all the lines and related material under the hood.
also resetting your ecu will only fix the problem until it happens agina then the ecu with throw the code again.
i would advise not drivin gthis vehicle until the problem is fixed
good luck check engine lights always end up being a pain in the ***

This sounds like a problem i had after my swap. We had that same thing happen we tried changing everything dealing with the fuel system but it turned out to be that the fuel pump wasnt getting any power some how. Check that and see how that works for you.
