oil burning really fast????

Default oil burning really fast????

like the title says my oil is burning really fast. basically everytime i fill up gas i would need to fill up about 1 quart of oil. right now im using 10-40. theres never any leaks on the bottom of my car and i don;t see to much leaks from my motor. so i was wonder why my motor burn so much oil. its a 99 civic si w/ the stock b16 motor. thanks

Check your spark plugs and see if its damped with oil. If it is then you got some issues with that engine, and what's with the thick oil?

How many miles on your engine?

If you're burning it, not leaking it, your rings are likely bad.

i just replaced my spark plugs and it wasn't filled with oil. i hope its not nothing to bad cause im trying to sell the car and what to fix the problem b4 i get rid of it.

i only got about 92000 miles on the motor. ever since i took out my turbo the problem started to happen. when the turbo was in the motor it was fine. i also checked my oil pan and nothing seems to leak from it.

yeah when i accelerate theres a lot of smoke comin out. my cause also smells like its burning alittle rich cause it smells like gas.
