not fully warmed up... vtec?
i dont have a oil pressure sensor since i spliced the vtec wire with some other wire to bypass it for my jdm itr swap in my eg.
now, i let my brother drive the car without it being fully warmed. needle was probably a little bit over the white line above the C when he decides to rip it. he hit vtec and let off the throttle a second later. of course, vtec was just a sound without real power since it wasnt fully warmed yet.
can damage happen to the motor because of this?

Most likely there's no damage done to your engine.
Don't hammer on engines when they're cold though, it's INCREDIBLY bad for them (and everybody does it...then wonders why their engine only lasts 150k).
My dad's benz lasted 365k, my friend's tercel (now my tercel) lasted 210k and still has plenty of power...what did they both have in common? They both beat on them sometimes, but not all the time, but the main thing: Proper maintenance, plugs, wires, etc. etc., changing oil every 3k, and most importantly, let the car warm up to standard operating temperature before driving it...
Running the engine ice cold ***** your engine hardcore. Not just some cinemax at 3am **** either, HARDCORE. Even if it's not to standard operating temperature, let it warm up for a bit, let the oil circulate the block for a bit to lube the head up...
Though I doubt you did any engine damage.
A lot of people are ignorant to the following
The reason your car idles at 2-3k when you first start it up (which is 100% normal) is so it can run faster and reach standard operating temperature quicker without running too fast. If it was idling at 4k it would do more harm than good, but idling where it idles allows it to warm up quicker without damaging the engine. Revving a cold engine is bad, so if you're gonna run it, keep the rev's down...
As for engine damage to urs...there's none...
