Default Brake rotor install question

Hey guys, my front passenger rotor is bad and I need a new one. Just seeing if anybody here has changed their rotors and if there is anything I need to watch out for or any tips you could offer. Also about how long did it take you to install them? Im going to be doing the rotors and pads at the same time.

These are going on a 02 civic ex coupe

Thanks
Paul

It should only be like 2 screws kinda between the studs thier only 1/4 inch long that you remove. if you have changed pads before, the rotors should be not much harder to replace i have not done my own brakes in like 2 years though i'm getting lazy in my old age of 24 but i'm prety sure thats all that need to remove them

They're quite easy to do, to be honest. I got mine done in about 30-45 minutes, and I was taking my time.

Sweet, yeah I have changed the pads and brake lines on a WRX and it wasnt bad at all, just making sure there wasnt something odd or anything.

I took it to honda today and they told me it would be like 400 and something to put new rotors and pads on. I told them to shove it up their *** and I left.

I live in an apartment complex and dont have a lot of space or garage or anything to do it in. I also work full time and go to school full time so dont have a whole lot of free time.

drill the rotor screws out, you dont need em.
have a 4" or larger C clamp handy to push the piston back in.
Its easy. I did pads and rotors friday in less than half an hour.

yea, it's not that hard, just remember to put some brake slider grease on when putting new pads on. That'll keep em from seizing up in return saving your rotors from damage.

There's an alternative to drilling out the rotor retaining screws. One of the dealership techs showed me how to use a small chisel and a hammer to knock the screw loose after I had broken off an impact driver bit into the head of the screw and tried to drill it out.

He knocked it loose in one tap. Saved me an hour of trying to drill through the impact driver bit.
