best tranny fluid?
he, i just picked up a 94 del sol...
the input shaft bearing is starting to make a little noise, and i need to drive the car to get to work for a little while before i can get another tranny.
my question is, what fluid shoutld i put in the tranny to try and get it to last a little longer? maybe royal purple, honda mtf, or just thicker oil???
like i said, its just temp, but i dont want to get stuck...

Everyone and their mom will jump in here and tell you their opinion.
In all actuality it's 6 of one, and a half dozen of another.
Honda MTF is good, so is GM's friction modified synchromesh.
Either should be nice.
