why change the flywheel and not do the clutch one time while your in there? you will feel a slight difference since it will rev up a little faster. but there is no telling how good your stock clutch will grip. i just did mines, i got a stage 1 clutch and i lightened my stock flywheel, and it feels alot better. im chirping third now in the si.

realize that when you go to a real light flywheel, that your are taking away the inertia that the crank uses to bring the piston and rod out of TDC on the power stroke, going too light will stress the rods and piston more than I am willing to chance. 14lbs is the lightest I will go.

There is a reason they weigh 18lbs.....

I had a stage 1 clutch with the 7.5 lb fly wheel for some while now and we recently took my motor apart my rods and pistons are in excellent condition and i did beat the hell out of the car on track

i can get a third gear chirp into third on stock flywheel and stage 1 exedy. All a lightened flywheel does is rev quicker and the HP gain is minimal. I am against it because you lode all your jump off the line and in a torqueless honda that can be a downfall...gets to the power making rpm's fater tho. its a money vs. gain type thing and unless you race alot then its kinda a waste...i think.

Its not gonna put insane amounts of stress on it but if your making any kind of power, your looking for trouble. What do your bearings look like? and why did you rip it apart?
