Default Putting an integra b16a/turbo into a 93 civic/1.5, I need help, my first honda/swap!!!

my first post. lets get to it.

what i have:
* a perfect 93 civic EX with a jdm 1.5 sohc vtec and a turbo with a lot of goodies. the engine is blown.

* a 1990 integra gs with an SIR b16a first gen. the car is junk, the engine runs great. it has a cable trans, and a PR3 ecu. it looks like it has been swapped.

* no knowledge or experience with hondas.

my first question:
ive read its best to set the car up OBD1, and you can do that with a PR3 ecu. is it best to set the civic up for OBD1? isnt the integra PR3 obd0?

second:
the b16, the b16 engine harness, the b16 distributor, the b16 ecu all work. can i install them in the civic, then plug into the civic car harness? meaning is it all swapable?

im very serious about this. i have money, time, and every tool imaginable at my disposal, as well as a machine shop and a junkyard. unfortunately no b series hydraulic transmissions though.

help out a new honda owner!!

i have an update: i pulled the ecu out of the civic, and its a P28. ive read that this is OBD1, and is recommended for the swap. can i use it to run the integra engine?

(you said if you have a p28 stick with that)

(if not just get a clip or ecu harness coverson for your ODB)

"you said you have a p28, stick with that."

will it start the car right away, or will it need to chipped, modified, etc? and if so, where do i send it to?

isnt the PR3 Obd0 and the P28 OBD1? which one is recommended?

Convert the motor to obd1.

Get a hydro tranny unless you want to do a complete hydro to cable conversion in which case involves the use of Hasport mount.

i dont mean to sound like the annoying stepson, but why is 0BD1 preferred? because of the turbo, the compatability, the emissions, the efficiency, combo of these?

Because your choices are.... A. Convert car to obd0 or B conver motor to obd1. Which do you think is easier?

considering everything i have to get for OBD1, and the fact everything OBD0 on the integra works fine, it might be cheaper to keep it OBD0.

whats the price of a harness, and where to get one?
