Has anybody heard of this? Or is this dealer trying to set me up?

 

I've found no info for the fuel pump relay; is there any more to the story?

A lot of things are covered under the emission warranty extension however.

 

u wanna know the complete story. My drunk uncle got my civic key stuck in my accord. I took it to the dealer and hey fixed the lock. Then I get a peace of mail that look real unprofessional and some hand written and scrated out in certain parts. Saying that there is a recall and the service would be free. I called and the guy told me it was a fuel pump relay. Sounded real suspicious expecially that I never had a problem with that and I looked the internet and heard nothing so i posted something to see if anyone else knew diffrent. Thats all I have had a vtec selonoid problem, but other than that nothing. Honestly, I think they were trying to set me up because the letter had certain parts scratched out and my car is 12 years old. How come they didnt call earlier about something as serious as a recall that could leave me stranded?

 

Uhh I have a 95 accord.. Never heard of that recall. Call the dealership and they should be able to tell you what recalls are on your car. Give them the vin and they will tell you what recalls have been preformed on the car and what hasnt been. And if it was a Honda dealer that you took your car too. Then call another one !
