Default swap in 93 sedan

ok so my friend was wanting to do an f23 swap in it but it is obd2 and his car is obd1. he doesnt want to do the obd1-obd2 conversion. so my question is, can you use the f22 and throw the f23 head on it? since the f22=2.2liter, and the f23=2.3liter will it work? he's got the APEXI neo controler wich does vtec/air/fuel and more. so if he had that hooked up then can he use any obdi ecu with vtec and just adjust it on the controler? thanks

Accord - Yes
Civic - you ARE on crack.

Have a nice dayy. </TD></TR></TABLE>

What are you talking about. An F-Swap is almost identical to a H-Swap....

SOHC f-series is a nice motor.

He can't really get around the conversion, unless he wants to run an obd1 ecu and get it chipped and tuned.

i know the H and F are the same block. But the h22a1 comes in obd1 rite. if so then you don't need to worry about this obd1-obd2 conversion. But he's wanting to do the f23, NOT an h swap. but thanks

Not all H's and F's are the same block, the f23a5 is nothing Like an h22a2.
