Default ****NEED TO KNOW ASAP***** PLEAZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BIDDING ON A CLUSTER, NEED HELP QUICK

alright. i need to hurry im bidding on a 97 gauge cluster from an lx civic. i want to put it in my 96' cx hatchback.
1st. its an auto cluster: A: will it still plug and play w/out anything wrong with it.
B:if i get one of those gauge things(that make the colors change from the factory 1 to different colors and look really riced out), will i be able to just cover up the automatic part of the cluster(the P,R,N,D,2,1 part.)if i get 1 for a manual.
2nd: how easy is it to switch my odometer essembley from my current gauge cluster to the new 1.
3rd: will anything be affected due to the fact that its an auto gauge cluster(like lights for the D,R,N,1,2,P things. or will the bulbs not even light up).

just try and give me any knowledge that u have. the bidding ends in 45 mins. so hurry.
thnx for help

If we dont reply fast enough, go somewhere else.

if we didnt answer ****, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE...

You might want to think ahead instead of wanting Honda-Tech to be your express car advice/info service

It seems like here, YOU are the ********

your ******* wasting useful oxygen and bandwidth by making such a noobie post. 30 mins was plenty of time to search. if we didn't answer your question maybe it wasn't us at fault for being slow, but it was actually YOU for making a worthless thread instead of using the SEARCH button

you should have been an abortion

have a nice day

The tach will work fine. The only thing you have to deal with is the dashlights for what gear you are in, which will be permenantly marked on 'P'. That can be solved easily by removing the bulb for it.

if the cluster is from the same generation as your civic then yes it will plug in just right you could somehow just cover the gear selector lights if you wanted too and about the speedo swap im going to take an educated guess from what i know about gauges that its probably a few screw only.
