Default D16 Manifold on a D17

was wondering if any would know or has done this... put a d16y8 intake manifold on there d17 and has cleared their firewall? this is the one i want to get... will this one clear it? pictures would help

It does not bolt up.

Stock d16 manifolds have worked before, but require welding/grinding to fit.

im in the process of doing the conversion right now.. its pretty rare to have this done a lot of people would rather just save n do a swap.. but its kinda pricey to do.. it is runing me about $700.00 not counting extra parts suck as fuel rail ect. but it can be done if you use a skunk 2 d16 intake manifold and throttle body.. it just takes some dough and customization.
