QUESTION ????
I have a 98 civic hatch. The car was in a minor accident, and when it was fixed the passenger side was fine, but the driver side was pushed back a little and now the wheel sits a little farther back than the other side, it doesnt effect the drive or the handling but need to get it fixed asap, anyone have any ideas or have ever heard of anything like this before??? thanks
the same happened to my car (dc2) but in a little worst condition. i'm in the process of swapping out suspension parts. from the upper control arm down to the lower control arm, and the fork it attaches to. i'll try and keep you updated...
thanks man.. so it was just that some of those parts were bent and thats what caused the wheel to sit like that?? Is it a fairly easy fix..
my civic was in an accident before I bought it. for years I drove the car with my front passenger wheel visibly tilted inwards which always chewed the inner tires. Turns out my steering knuckle was bent. I was always denied alignments since my camber on that side was horrible and non adjustable. 40 bucks at the junk yard for the knuckle (the WHOLE entire assemble including good rotors, calipers, nearly new pads, and control arms) They were just lazy to remove all that so they just threw it all in and have been good for 3 years so far
