i have a 89 accord lx (carburated). recently i had to adjust my idle. i adjusted by the adjustment screw and i adjusted the throttle cable exactly the way the repair manual stated. now when i cold start the car, the engine will rev to about 2K then turn off. i have to then crank it and pump the gas pedal for about 10-20 seconds then the motor will start again.

now for some reason the manual doesn't show how to adjust the high idle, can this be the problem?

any ideas?
