Default d16y8 swap in a 93 del sol - need some advice

1993 del sol
Ok, i have a few questions that i was having trouble finding online. I have a 93 del sol that had a d15b7 which is a non-vtec and i threw a rod. So now i have a d16y8 going in it.

On a non-vtec d15b7, do i still have an obd1 p28, or is the vtec obd1 and the non-vtec obd1 different. I plan on getting chrome, but since im going from a non-vtec to a vtec, is there a vtec obd1 that i need to get?

Since the d16y8 is orginally from a obd2, i would consider getting that, but i need to get chrome, and ive hered the obd2 can not be tuned, or atleast can not be chipped?

Because im going from the obd1 to the obd2 engine, do i need to put the obd2 wireing harness in my car? Keep in mind my new engine is vtec, and my old one is not. How about the distributor? I will have to either use the y8 shell and the b7 internals?

Let me know my best bet on what i should do for the distributor, wireing harness, and ecu. Going from a d15b7 to a d16y8 - Thanks!

are you using stock y8 everything? If your doing a straightforward swap, then i would just get a y8 ECU and y8 engine harness.

well the y8 do have a different harness. You may need to use a p28 and keep it 0bd1.

Well, i have a turbo set up thats going on it, so it will have to be chipped and tunned, so ill need to use the obd1. Does any one know if b series injectors fit a d series?

And so the p28, is that a vtec obd1? or all all the single cam obd1 ecu's the same? Because my ecu is an obd1 but im not sure if it is a p28 because my car cam stock with a non vtec engine. - Thanks in advance
