obd2 b18b in an eg... what's the best ecu???
Hey all, I recently took my buddy's b18b out of his 92 civic. It originally came from a 97 teg and what buddy did was splice the tegs complete harness into the civic and ran obd2... this caused problems down the road. So he's bought a new car and i'm NOT butchering this one! I currently have it running on a PR4 i got from an obd1 92 teg at the scrapyard... I get a code 9 now for cyl sensor... I have a feeling this might be ecu related what can i do??
Note: It's running an obd1 dizzy because i'm a dumbass and ordered the wrong one and just repinned the plug to make it work on the obd2 engine harness. It always had a CEL even running obd2... but there was NO way to pull codes those wires got cut in that car.
Running a jumper harness to the obd2 computer is an option... but for tuning purposes i'd like to keep his car obd1.
