Default Clutch question

I recently finished with a build and I am having major clutch slippage issues.

The set up is a 350whp B16 on 18psi, the clutch is a ACT 4 puck.

The car hit 18psi for about a few days and now when it hits VTEC at about 9psi the clutch slips CRAZY.

My question is what clutch would you guys recommend for 400whp? I need the clutch to hold that much power and continue to hold it for a long time. I dont want it to hold the power then stopping hold it a few days later like the current clutch.

Also Im not looking to spend $800+ on a twin disc clutch...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I was thinking about going with the
Competition Clutch Stage 5 kit, will that hold 400whp for a decently long time?

If you are hitting VTAKK and your clutch slips instantly it's probably your pressure plate letting go.

This is exactly what is happening. So should I replace the clutch and pressure plate or just the pressure plate?

And what would be a good one for 400whp?

I was looking into the Comp Clutch Stage 5 kit, would this work for me for the amount of power I will have?

Also I dont understand the whole foot pounds for the pressure plate, what does this mean? Can anyone explain this to me please?

they don't go by HP ratings they go by TQ rating, the comp stage 5 will be good for your power level. and is easy to drive also.

Well I ordered a Competition Clutch Stage 5 kit today.

The guys at Competition Clutch were absolutely amazing to talk to, there customer support is by far the best hands down, I would recommend them to anyone!

The clutch should be here in a few days, I'll install it and let ya know how it goes...
