Default clutch question

i have a act stage 3 6puck sprung clutch and im looking to buy a new clutch disk. does it matter what clutch disk i get as long as its for a b series hydro. do the act pressure plates differ from heavy to max heavy. i really need some
help on this please get back to me.thnks

it matter what throw out bearing your using. ive seen some hit the inside of the clutch disk and make it not go in gear. but then again, why would you just replace the disk? if the disk is bad chances are everything needs to replaced. that also includes your flywheel because those act disks are harsh as fuc/< on them

You want to get a clutch set made for your specific b motor unless the part numbers are the same for yours and another b. ACT's "Max Xtreme" is two steps up from their "Heavy Duty" plates. You should usually get the least aggressive clutch that will hold all of your power, giving you the smoothest engagement. Check out ACT's site and it should say somewhere how to contact them with your specs and preferences to request a clutch set reccomendation.
