i have B16A and it drives and runs fine but when i am driveing and hold it at an rpm it will like leerch and then go normal and kinda do it off and on i can excell fine it dosent hesitate or anything but when i am stopped and hit the throttle it does hesitate and i have to give it like half full throttle cause somtimes it dies when i hit the gas pedal.when im driving it the RPMs dont jump and i dont loose any it is just jerky, could that be timing , and another thing since it was tuned from the factory in Japan would that make it run weird im in montana and the elivation change could effect it ??

 

no, the ecu has enough sensors to compensate for the altitude, unless you are at like 10k feet or something. it sounds to me like you have either an ignition or timing problem.

 

its probly the timng then does anyone kno what the timing should be on a B16A SiR obdo
