fuel line problem!!!

Default fuel line problem!!!

ok so my engine just got wired up and was starting but its not getting fuel cause theres a leak in the line coming from the tank. right next to the tank theres a metal junction or something and it pisses out fuel when i stop cranking the motor. ill take a picture tomorrow. any ideas?

the duct tape was there as a band aid solution to try and seal it up a bit but it failed miserably so we took off the tape i guess i just forgot to take that piece off...what looks like penut butter is poly urethane, that was used to help seal up some holes that were unweldable, and behind that just happened to be one of those places...that part just was not painted yet...sooooo anyways anyone have a solution to this problem with that part leaking???

ok.. i wasnt half assing it the car inst driveable yet as the motor just went in so were trying to start it for the first time and yea... well what does that thing do anyways????

if you are starting it with the gas spraying out and using duct tape...

i call that half-assed. thats a friggan fire hazard dude, big time!

ok so your sure i need a new gas tank, cause its not the rubber hose leaking that comes from the tank, its the metal thing that it connects to, do new tanks come with that thing the thing right next to the duct tape in the pic...

get some better pics. because, no, i am not 100% sure.


i used to work for honda, and can hardly tell what you posted. get some more pictures, better quality, and maybe i have a better answer. but until then..... stop trying to start it or put band aids on it. dieing in a fire must suck.
