Knock Sensor - Here we go again...
I probably have posted about this before... but...
I have a 94 Accord w/H22A swap done in it. The motor was swapped in by a shop because of the lack of time and tools I had, got it back, noticed that it was throwing the knock sensor code. Buddy of mine who works for a dealership got me a new knock sensor, ran a wire straight from the pin on the ECU right to the back of the knock sensor to a spade connector, seats perfectly on the pin, still throws the code after resetting the ECU several times... Car runs like a dream, then if I give it more than 40% throttle in a low gear just to get moving around traffic, then it throws the CEL.
Also, ignition timing and/or external coil... could this be a factor of why this CEL is thrown?
Any input on this? Tnx.
