does anyone have the special edition gc coilovers? do you recommend them?

also what spring rate would be good for a daily-driven teg? (not too stiff please )

 

i have em. special edition or limited edition ones are really soft, and comfortable. i coupled them with kyb shocks... so i can make them a lot harder, or almost stock. i like this setup quite a bit!

 

there is no real special edition , they all say that . they just do that in the ad in the mags to show they dropepd the pirce. they are all the same .

 

with the SE's u get urathane top hat bushings i think. the normal ones get the cheap rubber stuff...

 

im telling you man , same **** , i called ground control to ask them when i got my 1st set. they said they are the same . but the special edition signifies a "sale price" . . . .you know what that means right. they weer always that price, but they put special edition on it so everyone buys them thinking there was something new on them to improve them and what not. . . its a marketing scheme

 

I think the "special edition" coilovers are the ones without the adapters, for koni or bilstein.

 

hmm.. i thought special edition had softer spring rates?

 

all ground controls are the same unless you order them with a stiffer of softer spring rate

 

so would these limited edition ride good on the street? or what custom spring rate should i go for?
